Seriously

It's hilarious... I see a squirrel dart frantically off when I approach, and then I trip over a half ripe sort of weird klunky fruit. They are hiding them everywhere.

You won't believe where this one was...

and then this one wasn't hidden at all...

and there was one buried in here...

but this (a zoom out from the first photo in this post...) made me laugh the hardest.. see it?

Those are black walnuts.. we have a tree in my yard! We have a bumper crop of them this year (I think cuz of the rain? I dunno) but they are EVERYWHERE. hahahaha. I love your post.. your rodents crack me up. After a while they dry up and turn black and you'd recognize them in a minute. That's what they look like ripe on the tree and right after they fall off.

wow, have never seen black walnuts green, or that large!

we do have rodents that leave various things in interesting places---usually with half eaten insides (if you didn't like it enough to finish it, then why'd you start? oh wait, when did my mother get in the room?!?).

when we lived in a house with citrus---we'd assume 1/2 went to the rodents, 1/4 to donation and 1/4 we might get to enjoy.

Things will get better... right?

I distinctly remember a day in... maybe February?  I remember the moment, but not what day it was. I was sitting at work thinking about plan...
