When we put him in here and turned on the light he freaked out a little. I gave him some food and said Good Luck.
This morning he's still hiding most of the time.

what kind of fish is it? you don't want to add friends unless that's a big tank, which it doesn't look like from here. you can get stuff at the pet store that you can put into the water (few drops per gallon) that will take the chlorine and ickies out of your tap water and also give the fish some needed "slime" that helps them live longer than a week. the other thing that the fish has going against it.. is the cold. did you get a heater?
shoot any questions over here.. not only did I use to keep fish, I used to work in a fish store/pet store (mostly we sold fish)
