Tunes

I started to make a CD for someone who I was discussing country music with via IM this week. It came out to 96 songs which was a problem.

Take a playlist from your iPod and give me the name, artist, & album*

This is some country stuff I'm very partial to. (Give me something NOT country, I need to branch out...) The bold are songs I am hooked on today. TODAY being the key word, of course.

I have a few playlists. What music other than country do you like?

I just right clicked on the playlist name and there was an option to export the song list.

It makes a Notepad / txt file.

*(I cheated and put it into excel to clean it up and delete some columns. Nerd!!)

So it's not actually the songs you're exporting, just the names.

I like Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones, Rob Thomas, Nelly Furtado, Dave Matthews, BNL, Sting

surprise me!!

I emailed you my current play list with a couple of bands on there that you might like along the Norah Jones / Dido sound

I got some for you. I'm just going to burn all the mp3's to a cd for you. I don't actually have any playlists on my iPod. It's pretty annoying. One second "Anytime" by Bryan McKnight will be playing and the next, the audiobook chapter 2 of Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand is playing. Then I'm stuck trying to get busy to an audiobook talking about who is John Galt.

Things will get better... right?

I distinctly remember a day in... maybe February?  I remember the moment, but not what day it was. I was sitting at work thinking about plan...
